Nexon and Nitro Studios have announced the release of Season 2 of the kart racing game KartRider Drift. This new season, titled World Kart Championship, features new tracks, new characters, Racing Pass in-game items, and a brand-new collaboration. Since its release in March, KartRider: Drift has captivated gamers with its fast-paced action, vibrant graphics, and fun-filled gameplay. With the launch of Season 2, players can now experience the thrill of racing on famous tracks such as WKC: Korea Circuit and WKC: Brazil Circuit, complete with new obstacles and accessories.
New Tracks and Characters
World Kart Championship season brings with it four new themed tracks, designed to challenge players and keep them on the edge of their seats as they speed towards the finish line. These tracks include WKC: Korea Circuit, WKC: Brazil Circuit, and two other yet-to-be-announced tracks. In addition to the new tracks, Season 2 also introduces several new characters, such as Derek, Lodumani, and Tiera.
KartRider: Drift will also see a new set of characters through a collaboration with IPX’s globally popular character IP, BT21 – KOYA, RJ, SHOOKY, MANG, CHIMMY, TATA, and COOKY. Players can unlock new KartRider: Drift characters as they progress through the free and Premium Racing Pass tiers, while BT21 characters will be purchasable in the Item Shop. Along with new tracks and characters, Season 2 includes a new game mode, Infinite Boost mode, where players can drive as fast as possible with no limitations.
